stuffed monster
03.06.10 :: I just couldn't fork over the money for a bunch of ugly dolls for Ben's birthday party so I decided I would attempt to make some stuffed monsters myself. Cutting of the first one down. . .sewing, stuffing then half a dozen more to go!

03.05.10 :: quick trip to the playground this afternoon to get out of the house. Colin had fun, but my heart hurt for Ben when he got upset after an older boy "said stupid at me".

in like a lion, out like a lamb
03.04.10 :: Colin brought this little magazine home from school today and we discussed the weather (as ridiculous as it's been in Florida the past few months!). He then decided to make a similar book with his version of a lion and lamb (and a calendar on the inside with the "lamb" days and "lion" days this month).
draperies - finally!
03.03.10 :: I really wish I had taken a good pic of mom and the boys, but it was such a busy few days that I just forgot to make an effort! The best I could do was take a picture of the draperies she helped us install (well, pretty much installed herself). I'm so glad they're finally up!

potty!!!!
02.02.10 :: He finally did it! He "peeped" in the potty! This dinosaur mask was his prize. He was so excited that he went back 20 minutes later and did it again for a pirate sticker book. My stubborn boy held it for 6 hours before finally agreeing to go!
